Built by linguists who know the industry

Quality assurance and language resources in each client's own style

Tessia saves you time on review, QA and post-editing. Soon it will also help with other everyday tasks, such as creating glossaries and style guides. It takes into account the full context of the project and each client's preferences: it doesn't analyze segments in isolation.

Born from the needs of a translation agency, where it has been in daily use since April 2026.

Client profileBringing the pieces together

All four tools read the same profile: everything you know about each client, applied automatically in every analysis.

Tessia Assets and Tessia Toolkit are still being pieced together: coming soon.

Tessia Triage and Tessia Guard

Two moments in the workflow, one tool for each

Tessia Triage steps in before anyone touches the text; Tessia Guard, right before delivery to the client. Together they make the perfect combination to save you time on both post-editing and LQA.

Tessia TriageBefore post-editing

Before post-editing, find out where to focus the effort

Upload a file translated with a machine translation engine or with generative AI, and Tessia Triage evaluates it the way an MQM reviewer would: each error with its type and severity, the patterns that repeat and an estimate of the post-editing effort. Post-editors know in advance where to focus and save time. It also helps you quote, assign the work and compare engines.

  • MQM score with the official severities: critical, major and minor.
  • Repeated errors grouped together, so you can see what the engine gets wrong systematically.
  • Quality report ready for the client or the project manager, in Word and Excel.

A safety net for the errors that slip through

Tessia Guard checks the translation, already reviewed or post-edited, against the full context of the project and everything it knows about the client, and flags only what deserves a second look. It doesn't replace the reviewer: the decision is still theirs. Tessia Guard works alongside them as the extra pair of eyes that catches what slips through before delivery.

Based on: Client glossary

Everything you know about a client, at the center of every analysis

Create a profile for each client and keep their style guide, glossaries, memories, references and instructions in it. You only need to set it up once: it's always available in Tessia Guard and Tessia Triage, you choose it when you launch each analysis and it's applied automatically. That way the whole team works with the most up-to-date version of the files.

If two sources contradict each other, the one higher up always prevails

Hover over each level

  1. 1Client style guide and instructions

The client's living guide and the rules only they have. Project notes sit at the same level.

  2. 2Glossary

Mandatory when the meaning matches, allowing for each language's inflection.

  3. 3Memories and bilingual references

Previous translations followed with judgment: an old mistake is not propagated.

  4. 4Subject-matter knowledge

The project's domain: medicine, video games, legal, software…

  5. 5Language rules

The current academic standard and the rules your organization uploads for each language.

Guides, right where you keep them

Connect Notion, Google Drive or SharePoint and link each client's guide. Tessia always checks the latest version: if you update the guide in your knowledge base, the change is available in Tessia instantly. Forget about uploading files with every update or copying and pasting content.

Also compatible with all your other files

Upload your memories in TMX and SDLTM, your glossaries in TBX, SDLTB, CSV or Excel, your bilingual references (XLIFF too) and your texts in Word, PDF or TXT. Tessia processes them and adapts them to each segment, so it only suggests changes where they are needed.

Upload the file exactly as it comes out of your tool

No integrations, no custom exports. Tessia understands how each tool marks locked segments, in-context matches and tags.

It also supports bilingual Word, Excel, CSV, TXT and TMX. You can analyze several files at once, even from different tools, as long as they are all XLIFF.It supports more than 800 languages and regional variants. Export the report in the language you need.

less time spent on the same tasks

Tessia grew out of the needs of Tatutrad and of the industry itself. The people who designed it know what clients look for, the tasks that need doing and how to streamline the process.

Time saving measured by the Tatutrad team since it started using Tessia in April 2026.

You work with your clients' materials. Tessia makes sure they're protected

  • Data isolated per organization

Isolation is enforced in the database itself, not just in the interface.

  • Stored and processed in the EU

Except for the moment the text passes through the AI provider, which doesn't use the data to train its models.

  • No copy of your files

Only the analysis result is kept, for 30, 90 or 180 days: your organization chooses how long. References you upload for a single analysis are deleted when it finishes.

  • A team with roles

Owner, admin and member, with access by tool and by client. You can restrict invitations to your company's email domains.

  • Two-factor authentication

Mandatory for the whole organization if you choose, with a security activity log.

Pay for what you analyze, with plans that adapt to your needs and the size of your team

Each analysis uses TessCoins from your organization's monthly balance, depending on the volume of text it processes.

We recommend the Professional plan

This is an approximate calculation and doesn't guarantee actual usage: each analysis processes the source and target text, style guides, references and instructions, so the word count may vary.

Frequently asked questions

Does it replace human review?

No. Tessia takes the first pass off the reviewer's hands and flags what deserves a second look. Suggestions are proposals: the final call is always the person's.

What's the difference between Tessia Guard and Tessia Triage?

The moment in the workflow. Triage analyzes machine translation output before post-editing and reports every error, with an MQM score. Guard checks a finished translation right before delivery and only flags what matters.

Do I have to change my translation tool?

No. Upload the file you already export from memoQ, Trados Studio, Phrase, XTM, Smartling or Lokalise, or a bilingual Word, Excel, CSV, TXT or TMX file. Results download as Excel and Word.

How does it use my clients' style guides?

Connect Notion, Google Drive or SharePoint, or upload the guide as a file, and link it to the client profile. Tessia always reads the latest version.

What is kept from my files?

The analysis result for the period your organization sets (30, 90 or 180 days), with the file name and usage. No copy of the uploaded file is kept, and the AI provider doesn't use the data to train its models.

What is a TessCoin?

Tessia's unit of usage. Each analysis uses some, depending on the volume of text it processes, and your plan includes a monthly balance.

Which languages does it work with?

More than 800 languages and regional variants, such as es-ES and es-419 or pt-PT and pt-BR. The report comes out in the language you choose.

Will there be more tools and features?

Yes. Tessia Assets and Tessia Toolkit are coming later, and Tessia Guard and Tessia Triage keep getting new features. If you want us to let you know when they're available, write to us at support@tessialang.com.
